BRITISH SHORTCOURSE FINSWIMMING GALA 2009
The British Shortcourse Finswimming Gala to be held on Saturday 21st November 2009 at Edenbridge swimming Pool. Check this site for further details nearer the time. The event will be hosted by the Kent Junior Finswimming Club.
Sport England Funded Training Courses
Kent Junior Finswimming Club are offering a wonderful opportunity for confident swimmers aged 9-18 years to sign up and take part in 8 supervised finswimming / snorkelling coaching courses. Details are in the poster below with contact phone numbers for booking. Places are limited and will be on a first come first served basis. Sessions will be at Combe Bank School in Sundridge. A Google Map showing directions to the school is attached below. These sessions will be run in partnership with the "Dive Machine" Scuba Training Centre at Tonbridge.

The Coach, Christine Turner is a First Class Diver and Advanced Diving Instructor a Scuba Lifesaver and First Aid and Rescue Instructor,with over 20 years of scuba diving and swimming teaching experience. She is a Full Time Teacher at a Kent Primary School. The sessions are run at a pool where Dive Machine are providing additional rescue diver cover throughout the sessions. Christine has an Enhanced Disclosure Child Protection Certificate.
